Normally I need them to explain the question before I even get into explaining the answer. This post was edited by Merlin at August 18, 2018 8:22 AM MDT

I thought it was just me!  There are some questions on here that I ask myself "WHAT?" after I read them.

    Depends on the question.

Depends on the situation—the question and my answer.

Sometimes even if they don't ask. I consider it one of my failings.

Questions that require only one-syllable answers I am normally good at understanding.  But, I can make the simplest of questions into the most detailed of answer. Shall I give an example?  Of course!
Should I paint this wall blue?
Well, is the wall facing east or west?  What sort of blue were you looking for?  If you have blue eyes, green is probably better if the wall faces west.  It's like lipstick.  You shouldn't wear red lipstick if you have on a red scarf or dress.  You'll never get them match. See, the morning sun will pick up an east facing wall which will pick up the blue in your eyes but you'll never get the color of your eyes to match the wall..... Now if the wall... what color blue were you thinking of?

No.  I never over-explain my answers.  Big Winks and Smiles.  I tried to leave it a one-sentence answer Zack but I couldn't resist.  Thank you for putting up with me and my over-exaggeration of things.  Believe it or not, in real life, my motto is:  Keep it simple.
It's just not as fun to practice that theory here.  No one would talk to anyone! :) :)
Oh, the answer to my question is, Yes.  You should paint that wall blue.  It faces NSS.  This post was edited by Merlin at August 18, 2018 11:54 AM MDT

It depends on who is asking.

Neeevvveerrrrr!  I enjoy what you say and having chats with you.  I especially like the pictures you post.  You are excellent at expressing your thoughts through pictures.  You would be great at writing and illustrating children's books.  :) :)  On some adult topics, too, of course! Big Winks and smiles.

    Thanks, Merlin.
    :)
In "real" life, too, I sometimes think I talk too much.
Sorry for the downer - - in a rough mood at the moment.
I'm glad you like my words and pictures.

For instance if you have questioned my meaning or if I feel my point has not been correctly understood.  I want people to at least understand me whether they agree with me or not.  And am willing to work with them to that end.  It very much matters to me that someone reads what I post on here so if they have a question I will answer it because I am grateful for their attention.
