What is your biggest regret in life?

Mine is not going to college after high school. I was afraid of failing.

    no regrets
everything has been a learning situation
    that had to be experienced.
Every action would've had a different reaction
creating a different place of being,
...so am definitely pretty happy with where
I am and what is, in my life. This post was edited by Baba at September 2, 2018 6:25 PM MDT

A phase I went through when I was profligate with money.
    Learned some hard lessons.
Am okay now - but would have been much more comfortable if I'd taken better care back then.

It’s understandable. We’re prone to be careless when we’re younger.

Back around 2007?,  I got a hot stock tip from Paul Harvey------ the guy on the radio. He told all his listeners to scrape up all the spare change they could and invest in this 'yet to be issued ' internet stock. I tried to find $1000. but just didn't have it. Too bad. According to a news article, that $1000. in stock is worth $5 million today. (the stock was Google)

  • Twenty years ago I turned down a number of offers for my hand in marriage, one in particular. My opting to stay single and live independently was a bad decision, and now, at 46, I find it very difficult to adjust to a full-time partner in my home.

I had a terrible breakup in my younger 20’s. I have only causally dates since then. Mostly due to trusts issues from that experience and the work environment I deal with. I’m now pushing 40 and I’m afraid I’m too accustomed to being on my own.
