    Exactly. People look at me and often think I’m not capable of defending myself. They’re sadly mistaken. Don’t ever judge anyone by appearance. I’ve seen 5‘ 6” 140 pound guys beat up guys who are 6’ 3“ and 230 pounds. This post was edited by Rizz at September 17, 2018 2:11 PM MDT

    My elderly mother chased some burglars outta her house. Next morning, I went down to the local 'gold and jewelry' buyer. He had bought mom's stuff from a guy who left a photocopy of his drivers license .(required by state law)  That thief was in jail later that day and got a year in prison.

    Finally, a sad story ending with justice.  I'm sorry for your mom.  The scars left may be irreversible. :(  At least there was justice done to a certain extent. :)

    No.  I have put myself in situations with my 16 and 17 and even 22 year old "wisdom" thinking I could handle any sexiness and bad boy(s) and was in control of all.
    Luckily, I've always had people and things knowing better and stopping me before I got WAY in over my head.

    Not really mugged but was pick pocketed once, foiled an attempted pick pocket once and had a bag with a carton of cigarettes snatched away.

    Gotta be careful where ya go during the late dark hours around where I live. Gangs of twe-bit muggers will rip off all your valuables then beat you up just for fun.
