    No, not on purpose.

Have no idea how a porpoise would hurt someone.

It's a play on words, a pun, for crying out loud! Lighten up and learn to play along.

  • In my defense, she was just trying to make too many waves.

No (thank cod), although I've had many a carp with people over the years.  While I had every right to whale on them (they were octopi-ing my space), I behaved like an eel gentleman and let it goby.

Well Yes, sortof: I was carrying this wooden dome, that was to be the roof of our tree house. It was quite heavy and I could not really see where I was going, so I bumped into one of the other guys so he fell.

Not much damage, he was more surprised than hurt; but definitely 'porpoisely' though not on purpose

    Yes
    When very young
    a big fat kid
    a friend would always
    Put me in a headlock
and Rub the top of my head
    with his fist until it
    would burn my head.
    Hurt like hell.
Finally I couldn't take it any more
and I punched him as hard as I could
    in the stomach...
He cried and said why did I do that
    it hurt...
I said Yeah, and when you do your thing
to the top of my head it hurts too....
He never did it again and we became good friends.

On purpose? Yes. A bully when I was in 6th grade. He swung at me first though I tried to diffuse the situation. I was raised if someone swings at me to always defend myself. I proceeded to land a few good punches and he ran off crying. Another example: in high school someone was bullying my best friend. I intervened as he isn’t a fighter. I tried to resolve it peacefully. He pushed me and it was on. I took him down with an arm toss and lightly put him in a submission hold to prove a point. That solved that.

There have been several times I purposely hurt inmates. Every situation was justified. They were either fighting each other, not complying to cuff up, lock up in their cell, assaulted staff, assaulted me, or threatened me. In that environment there is no playing nice in those situations. Period. This post was edited by Rizz at October 12, 2018 8:32 PM MDT

No.  I usually get along swimmingly with others, so that's not a problem.  If I wanted to do it on porpoise, it might be just joking around, you know, just for the halibut.

  • Don't get crabby, but I'm in a bit of a pickle.  It's not a big dill though, I will be just brine.
