I've only been up about as high as 14,000 feet.  That's it for me.

Quito, Ecuador.  The first couple of days there I found it a bit hard to breathe, but by the third day, I was good.  Quito is a beautiful city, friendly and welcoming to visitors even when they don't speak Spanish.  They work on the US Dollar, so no exchange rates and very inexpensive cost of living.  If I had to leave the states, this is definitely a place I would seriously consider.  Fantastic weather - mornings between 55-65 and during the date it's 65-75.

Yeah, altitude is tough until your body gets used to it. It sounds like a very nice place.

It's one of the nicest places I've been.  I'm not a humid, hot weather person, so that climate was perfect for me.

What about the lowest valley, that trench in the Ocean?

    Ain't no valley low enough.

Well, how about Mariana Trench?  I can't find the picture I know I have one.
