Hi, Pearl! I've gotten used to 'nn' for 'm' because of your keyboard, but 'grannnnar' is on a whole new level, hehe.

May I suggest something I do for symbols that aren't on my keyboard? You could copy any "m" and then use "paste" or "Ctrl+v" to insert it. Not that I'd make a big deal out of this myself, but it's an option.

And who would that be? Guess you don't mean me - no flag anywhere in my photo. This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at November 18, 2018 8:57 PM MST

You know I know some people are new on here, but this subject bores me to death.
People who do that have no lives.

How do you know that? I could say the same thing about people who are obsessed with Trump and still haven't gotten over his election more than two years after the fact.

HEY there.  Who said I was talking about YOU?  There are plenty others on here.  Let's see.... Uh Randy.

Ok.  I was talking about both of you.  Not pointing the finger at you, dear.

But comparing what I do to what you do is not even in the same ballpark.

I know I go on and on about this hideous monster.  That is because he is ruining the COUNTRY and the globe.

Hardly the same as pointing out that I forgot to say WHOM.

  • A Grammar Nazi is an obsessive creepster who lurks around social media sites with a red correction pen, sweating and drooling at the prospect that someone might be misusing the homonyms "their, there, and they're."

A grammar nazi is a helpful person who reminds us that in life (within which accurate communication has significant value) there is a generally agreed upon proper way of doing things and deviation therefrom should (in the case of written communication) be left to those who are familiar enough with proper grammar and syntax so as to not suggest that “bast*rdization” of the language is acceptable.

For instance, some people look at incorrect grammar as something that can be ignored---much like some people who think that Trump’s having been elected is something that should be gotten over.

But just like the salmonella that can be present in raw turkey this Thanksgiving, what Trump is leaving behind for our democratic republic to recover from is important to keep in mind---because it is just as injurious as salmonella.

(Remember to wash your hands and clean the counter top after you finishing prepping the turkey on Thursday, people)

What does the question have to do with Trump? Or are you that obsessed with him?

I love you Tom.  If you correct me, it is usually in a polite and relevant manner.  I cannot remember you ever correcting anyone.  But anyway, you are a polite and relevant man.  LOL

It is helpful to give advice when ASKED.  Otherwise it is freaking rude as heck.  Especially when it is not welcome nor relevant.

Or, perhaps, instead of baselessly (and a bit presumptuously) assuming you can read someone else's mind and magically know what motivates him/her, you might keep a more open mind and realize that different things affect people other than yourself in different ways, and vice versa, and thus avoid making a needless value judgement. Stu Bee, we are really ganging up on you.  This is not fair.  What would we do without our Stu Bee?

You are a personality and sometimes it is fun to give you grief.   I'm done being mean.  You rock.
