if you want a real.live tree, I'd start by asking my local florist.....then go online & research it......Im no expert, but it seems to me there'd be no such thing....as trees always thrive in sunlight, don't they?  but what do I know? LOL

The first thing to consider is what kind of birds. The limbs have to be just the right size to fit the talons. You probably need sand paper on the underside of each limb to keep talons from growing too much. Either that or provide some rocks to roost on. Some roosts have limbs directly below other limbs, and the birds won't perch there because they don't want to get pooped on. Think like a bird before you buy.
