I can see it becoming compulsory one day.....it's a device at the moment thst lets the authorities spy on your wear abouts any time of the day or night....it also plots your position forever no matter where you've been with it..
Big brother has been with us all for a while now ....and it's sitting therein stealth mode....who knows what it's listening to as you speak...maybe it does it also when it's switched off to....:(

  • I wouldn't, but you probably would.  May I suggest implantation in your right hand or forehead? :P

You wont get me using it if it's a touch screen then......if it has a camera in it you  might be able to see where being called from...:(

I know exactly what you mean.  They are all those people i front of me in Grand Central Station that are lollygagging along because they can't walk and talk at the same time!

  • No way.  I grew up in "olden days" when our phone wasn't an appendage.  It was attached to the wall and we had to confine our use of it to within the length of the cord.  :)

Here, here - we are of an age.  If I had to have my phone implanted, it would have to be along with my purse because I barely ever take it out unless I want to make a call.  Heck, I barely even keep it on!

Ew no. What if you need to take a shower or what if the phone inevitably dies, seems unnecessarily expensive to get a new one grafted in when you can just get a regular non-grafted into your body phone.

I'll choose No Way because my phone is an old land lock type of phone with a extra large #pad  so I'd have a real big scare after they installed it in me. Cheers!

  • How so, with some of your usual, uplifting life words?  You and Bromide should get a room. xD

  • Unless it was some kind of life-saving device, nothing will be implanted in my body.

    No.
The radiation issues are already problematic enough.
