  • Playlist I’m currently listening to, I’m embarrassed to say,  at top of it is a willie Nelson song... I have it on shuffle though so I don’t think it counts..

There's nothing embarrassing about Willie Nelson!

BTW she wanted to do "Parrots of Penzance" so she asked for a six foot tall talking parrot. The puppet master misunderstood.

  • You are speaking what I am screaming.  I still love old school rap and hip hop.

  • The Doors are always at the top of my playlist, especially their LA Woman album
Franc hit the nail for me with old school Rap (and hip hop)
And, when I am in a mellow mood, Camille Bazbaz

the last song of enigma's "enigma2: the CROSS of changes" album -- I like the entire album and have been playing it almost constantly for the last four months. And the album all leads to this stunning last song. I almost dare anyone to listen to these two minutes and to not be moved.
    :)

I like that song. I've heard a couple different people singing it, I think. Is Sammy Davis, Junior the one most identified with it?

I have several playlists, and like to start each of them with an uptempo happy number like:

     - It takes two by Kim Weston and Marvin Gaye
     - There must be thousands by The Quads
     - The Happening by The Supremes
     - Angel of Harlem by U2
     - Sukie in the Graveyard by Belle and Sebastian

But the song I am listening to most at the moment is "The Seventh Dub" by Groundation, last thing at night as it helps me to sleep.
