Yeah because sometimes I need more than ten fingers to help me with my math.

Especially if it could reach between my shoulder blades when I itch.

Especially when it's raining and you have to use one arm to hold your umbrella!

  • Maybe .. but that poses a problem finding a pair and 1/2 of gloves too.  :)

You would buy 3 pair of gloves -problem solved!

  • Nah, I’d have to go buy all new shirts and dresses. Sounds expensive and not convenient at all.

  • I was just wondering ... from where would that 3rd arm sprout?  :)

Not when I'm trying to sleep.

When I was young I would have said yes.  (look out ladies... rowr!)

But after having gone through 2 arm injuries, I must say no! All I need is more parts to get injured and then to ache.  Trying to sleep with 2 arms is bad enough, but having 3 of them?  I can't go through one night where one of them doesn't decide to "sleep in".

Might be handy for playing some keyboard music; even for organists who can use their feet, it could facilitate stop changes.

  • It would be convenient to have a little bigger third arm. :P

My thoughts were the same as JaneS, a third arm would be a problem when sleeping, so even though I have often said "I need another arm," I value my sleep to much to want one, I mean where's it going to go? I have enough problems deciding where to place two arms when I lay in bed.

    I'd love it.
But eight arms like an octopus would be even better, especially if any set could be used for arms and hands or legs and feet.

A third arm with a personality of its own? That would be great. While I was behaving nicely after being cussed out, said third arm would bash the bristly cusser.
