I wish to explore the universe with my brand new bundle of my own energy.

Would you take me along with you?
That would be so exciting, a life of perpetual discovery and endless energy to keep going.

  • Funny you should mention that. Since my school days I've been fascinated with Saturn's rings and often wondered what life on Saturn would be like. In your travels would you please drop me off there? I'd be much obliged.

Mostly animals, rocks, and plants, seasoned with a few select people to enjoy them with.

That's pretty much the life I live now - and I agree, it's profoundly enjoyable and satisfying.

To be burnt in an oven ,dumped in our oceans ,buried in a box or fed to the vultures .....as far as I know there are no other options.....
What ever you think , something big, small or tiny is going to eat and recycle you......:)

  • I know a mugger who belongs to a community who used to expose their dead to vultures when they were around. They are called Zoroastrians. A great community which came to India from Iran as refugees several centuries ago, and has done a lot for their adopted country ever since. Lovely people, at least the few I know. There is a country to the right of India that disposes of all their dead that way. It's in the Himalayas I think...  ...I'm pretty sure there are places in South America that does the same to anyone who dies........every living thing gets eaten and recycled...
If you think rationally about it,it's the best way of disposing of anyone who dies....

  • Yes, nature has arranged for it by having animals and birds which feed exclusively on carrion.

You would if you were a vulture though.   You don't have that stomach now and you won't be in fear later.  I am so darned grateful for those carrion.   This sure would be a stanky place if we did not have them.

I don't want to be one either.  But I know if I was one, I wouldn't care.

Kind of noble in their stance.

The question was not about burial practises - thought that is also an interesting topic.
Do you see how the corpse is treated as an "afterlife"?
I'm confused - the question was "If you could choose the kind of afterlife you would most like, what would you choose?"

That would be my idea of Heaven too. Not including the dog I have now I've raised 4 dogs from puppy to death do us part and I'm hoping they will all be waiting for me in Heaven and if I happen to die before the dog I have now we will all wait for him. Cheers!

First and foremost, when it comes to that whole Judgement Day jazz, you know, the playback of alleged sins, I'm going to need some kind of waiver or the right to plead the Fifth Amendment, etc.

Secondly, there simply has to be a Damsels-Delivering-Sandwiches policy or program or schedule. This is a strict requirement, non-negotiable.

Lastly, the grammar has to be impeccable
     . .
