  • Probably being pregnant and awaiting the birth of my son!  That was both exciting and frightening!

The birth of my first child.  I was eager, anxious, excited, and scared to death.....not of the birth but of the rest of my life.  That fear is absolutely warranted, but you are led by instinct as to what to do.  That's natural.  Killing the baby is not a natural instinct.       There are so many from which to from that it's  a bit difficult to narrow it down to just one of them.  I remember when my wife was pregnant with our first child, among a million other things I wondered about, one of the main ones was that I SO curious as to what the baby's face looked like, LOL!

Our eldest resembled me the most, our youngest resembled her.  That has been true for not only facial features, but also their hair and their personalities. Go figure.

  • "Figure". I like that!
If you have only two children, shouldn't they be referred to as "elder" and "younger" instead of "eldest" and "youngest"? Case of the biter bit?

Having sex.  I always just assumed my children would be healthy and happy.  I was right.
