    All black olives are green olives put in a tank ,then spun and oxygenated Until they go black and soft....:)

    Nope. We had a kalamata olive tree - they grew black.

    I like the green ones and preferably stuffed with pimiento ,garlic or almonds.....I think thery are all a bit yummy including the black ones...:)

    We are spoilt now  with so much imported foods...  There are hundreds of Turkish ,Greek, Polish,French Italian and Chineese and many many others here in London and all over the country really....
    We are spoilt for cheeses made here and abroad....You name it and you can buy it almost on every high street now....:)

    I like all olives except for the ones pickled in vinegar, the ones stuffed with cheese, or those flavored with "herbs de Provence".

    I do not like olives and their smell is horrible.  My sister makes a casserole with chipped green olives as an ingredient.  I must admit I love that casserole.  That is the one food that I knowingly eat a bit of olive.  I do use olive oil.
