If there were an emergency that knocks out power, natural gas for heating and the ability to go anywhere...say a blizzard,

do you have enough food and beverage to get by for those two weeks? And the ability to keep warm.

Yes.  Plus water.  Don't forget about a drinking water source.  One gal/day/person minimum.

If it is a blizzard, though...plenty of water. Not so for a giant volcano.

I live in Florida.  We are prepared to be without power and water for at least two weeks.  We have propane, fire wood, candles, a generator and lots of food in the freezer.

    Hello Element99

Power outages for a day or two are typical during the winter here. Our roads get washed out periodically as well.
I run off a well and propane. I have a 15kw generator for backup for when the power does go out. The house is heated by a wood stove already so I would be fine. Got plenty of fuel for the generator, plenty of wood for the stove and enough dry goods to last at least a few weeks...

I have a fear or phobia of not having food in the winter so I stock up real good . I still have 3 or 4 months stock up left and winter is almost over. I also stock up on food for our dog and cat plus cleaning and hygiene products. We have a wood stove and I stock up on fire wood too. Cheers!
