"IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD and the word was with GOD and the word was GOD". In the beginning?

How can there be a BEGINNING if GOD always was and never not was?

Do YOU understand what that means? I do not. If GOD ALWAYS WAS how can there be anything that began related to GOD?

Maybe God emerged from a dimension of existence before time began and created the dimension of time in order to cause a beginning.

What I get from what you wrote is that God existed before God existed. I'm sure that isn't what you mean but that is how I perceive. Which is nonsense correct? I'm stuck with my limitations I fear m'dear. Thank you for your reply Kg. I'm gonna ask.

God created time after he emerged from a different dimension of existence outside of time.
