You can have a mine filled with gold, but if the only person that knows about it is a TOTAL MORON?  What good is it to anyone?

Same with who is running the operations in this nation.

USA is THE strongest in the world. Not one of the strongest.

We must be because we defend most of the world as well.

We cannot even defend our own country and help the disasters that occur among our own people.  DON'T spread nonsense propaganda.

We are weaker and weaker every day that dumbass rules the nation.

Our allies don't trust us and Putin has Trump in his pocket.  Boy do I feel secure.

  • Naw... Trump has acquiesced to Russia and China

The US is no longer relevant. We are totally incapable of taking care of our own country and our very own people in natural disasters.
Peurto Rico still has many sections without power and in shambles.

We are a weak, pathtic, laughing stock.

You may try and spin it any way you wish but the facts are the facts

  • Bunch of losers. I will not mince words and this is not about a different perspective. Trump supporters are a vile bunch.

We need to cleanse the Whitehouse of vermin.  Trump should be dragged out  by his heels

Facts do not get in the way. President Trump has been tougher on Russia than any President since Reagan.
      • In response to Russian interference in the 2016 election and other malfeasance, the Trump Administration has sanctioned Russian oligarchs and intelligence entities.
      • Throughout 2017 and 2018, the U.S. sanctioned numerous Russian actors for violating non-proliferation laws by supporting weapons programs in Iran and Syria and supporting North Korea's development of weapons of mass destruction.
      • The Trump Administration has issued sanctions against more than one hundred Russian actors and firms for Russia's destabilizing actions in Ukraine and its ongoing occupation of Crimea.
      • In March 2017, in response to Russia's use of a military-grade chemical weapon in the United Kingdom, the Trump Administration ordered multiple Russian consulates in the United States closed and expelled 60 Russian intelligence officers.
    • Due to sanctions imposed by the Trump Administration, the Russian economy and Russian geo-economic projects have been severely constrained.
      • In 2018, as Russian investors reacted to new sanctions, the Russian Ruble made its biggest fall in over three years, and, as of July 2018, is down nearly nine percent against the dollar.
      • As a part of its sanctions against Russia, the United States has prevented numerous companies from partnering with Russian offshore oil projects, denying these projects access to capital and key resources.
      • The Trump Administration has also opposed Russian President Vladimir Putin's largest geo-economic project, the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which could generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for Russia.
    • In the wake of Russian provocations, President Trump has exercised U.S. military power and worked to bolster U.S. allies in Europe.
      • In 2017, President Trump approved the sale of lethal weapons to Ukraine addressing the country's vulnerability to Russian-backed separatists in its eastern provinces.
      • Under the Trump Administration, Russian mercenaries and other pro-Syrian regime forces attacking U.S. troops in Syria were killed.
      • The U.S. has increased troops and its military capability in Eastern Europe and dramatically increased training and drills with its NATO partners.
      • In 2018, the U.S. Department of Defense increased its spending as part of the European Deterrence Initiative by $1.4 billion dollars.
      • Due to pressure from President Trump, U.S.' NATO allies have increased defense expenditures by five percent.

And yet Trump kisses Putin’s butt on TV in Helsinki, and praises ex-KGB Putin’s “explanations” over the Intel of his own State Dept.
Meanwhile, fawning over the most brutal dictator on earth (Kim) while much ballyhooed sanctions fail to bring him to heel, either. Then denigrating an actual American war hero months after his death.
It’s like saying we shouldn't  recognize what we see with our own eyes.
Maybe you don’t get that sanctions mainly hurt the already suffering citizens of these countries, not their vile dictators/Trump’s besties.

Talk is cheap. Actions matter and actions are tougher than Obama or any other recent Pres.
Obama told Putin to wait until the election was over then he would be freer.

Actions that accomplish little to nothing (this is postering) don’t matter much in the bigger game, except to apologists who have nothing else to point to, especially while they stand in vacant denial of what is obvious to those not so in thrall to the demagoguery.

Sorry, dear, in politics, talk is THE commodity of importance. Even the talk you don’t agree with or refuse to acknowledge. Credibility is everything. Precious little of that exists in the WH at this time. This post was edited by Don Barzini at March 29, 2019 5:03 AM MDT

If what Trump has done means nothing then what the others were definitely pointless.
Talk is even cheaper in politics. No one trusts a politician because of all that talk with no actions.

Well then, you’ve finally put Trump‘s divisive schtick in its proper light, haven’t you...

I said the Presidents overrated actions (sanctions) have accomplished nothing, like those of his predecessors, except maybe to make hardened US enemies of their citizenry, just like his unhinged rhetoric is doing at home. His politics are no more viable than his predecessors, just more vitriolic.  This post was edited by Don Barzini at March 29, 2019 5:36 AM MDT

Not just sanctions. But unless you want war...there is not much more to do. That is how the world likes to do it.
Trump armed Ukraine, expelled Russians, closed consulates, opposed pipeline (Yes it upset Europe, Germany in particular) killed Russians in Syria. Etc.

    Ok, counter facts:
Russia has absolutely no interests in PDRK and never has. Kim's only ally is China. Nobody had to help North Korea to acquire nuclear weapons, they're ridiculously easy to produce if you can get the necessary materials, and PDRK sits on one of the world's richest deposits of pitchblende. All they had to do was refine it and breed plutonium. Expensive, but not particularly hard to do.
US sanctions have done doodly as far as the dictators are concerned, just given said dictators a cheap target - they can blame the US for the suffering of those whom are directly affected by those sanctions.
Trump kissed Putin's a$$ in Helsinki and got out of Syria because his buddy Vlad told him to.

So the sanctions have no effect but to allow blame for the effects on the US...lol
We are leaving Syria because the Islamic State has no state left. We are leaving some troops as always. And of course, if needed we can certainly bring many more back in.

And yet ... both Russia and China are becoming threats that we are unable to counter.
Especially the Chinese, as they invest in modernizing ... and "futurizing"... their military, with the goal of defeating our technology.

Is there a question in there somewhere?
The US has the strongest, best equipped military in the history of the world. Has been for decades.
Sadly, it is regularly misused and played as pawns by a gaggle of inept, partisan buffoons masquerading as leaders.
