Trump's sons, who combined, equal the IQ of daddy, are SUING CONGRESS. I wonder if Barr has time from being Trump's lawyer to handle this.

who is the stooge to take this case?
judge Jeannine Pirro?

She is incompetent enough.  Can she stop being a fake judge long enough to be a fake lawyer for the fake president's sons?

One interesting thing about this ... Cummings (Congress) filed a suit for 10 years of Trump's tax records.
    Why is that interesting?
Because the IRS only requires you to keep the last seven years of tax information.

So even if Trump loses the counter-suit to prevent the records from being turned over ... they could turn over 7 years, and claim the other 3 were shredded prior to the subpoena.  Of course, we all know that they probably DO have records going back longer than 10 years.

Actually it's only three years, which is the audit time window. But it really doesn't matter since the IRS has account and return transcripts going back years.

Is it possible to get a copy of a personal return from the IRS from the years 2000-2004? We used a CPA then but he says he destroys after 7 yrs.

Not sure how far back they go. You can request transcripts by mail or try to create an online account, although the security requirements are stiff.

We had a casualty fire loss and I thought it would have expired by now. But just learned it can be carried over for up to 20 yrs. So I am trying to see if any is left over for deduction.

This is what Trumps do. Do what they want until someone challenges them, then they sue.
I bid you google the dozens of frivolous lawsuits Trump and his kin have foisted on the system.
