I know a framing carpenter that lost a finger in a work place accident. His crew made him a sympathy card from a napkin and gave it to him at the Rod and Gun tavern. The card said - Sorry to hear about your loss and I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is your finger will never grow back. The good news is now you can become a shop teacher. The guys response was pretty funny he said thanks for the card then said he still has phantom feelings in the middle finger he chopped off then he held that hand up like he was shooting them the finger. Cheers!

I looked around and came across this one -- but I rather like it! (So I realize I'm not really answering your question accurately.) This card reads just like how I sometimes talk.
    :)

My sympathy on the loss of your spouse. Let me know when you're ready to date.

  • In the south we quite often use the expression..."Well bless your heart."  LOL!  Trust me it may sound sweet on the surface, but there can be a lot of underlying judgement in those words.
