7th grade and only because Two guys were in a fight and i tried to break it up next thing I knew a baseball bat hit me in the face broke my nose and knocked a tooth out...LOL ...from then on, hey, let em fight.
There was no romance when I was 6th grade. If there is now that is part of the problem. We had boyfriends and that was determined by a third party. Someone would walk up to you and say Do you like XXX? If you said yes then you were told "You and he are together." All that meant was if someone asked who your boyfriend was, you had a name to give. We still played tackle football after school. All of us. I was 17 before I cared about boys, and then it was one boy, and eventually he was my husband.
I had a crush on Ronald Cybulski when I was in 5th. He had brown hair and this weird hair that looked like spots. It naturally grew these big blond spots in it. I found that so odd and compelling for some reason. But we never had any romance. I think he didn't even know what a girl was.
