    Just a few days ago.

They asked if I wanted to get "off".

Just the other day.  I was stopped at an interjection, when this old Ford Ellipsis pulls alongside and the driver says, "I couldn't help but notice that your participle is dangling.  Are you a transitive?".  Noun, adverb I didn't know how to respond.  What would cause anyone to say that about me?  The more I thought about it, the more tense I became.  So just as the light changed, I rolled down my window and yelled, "Suffix!", and split.

Last Sunday when I played MC for the local World Environment Day Festival.
I got myself in position well before the event started and was ready for each speaker or performer as their turn arrived.

About a year or so ago I was outside when a lady 'bout 50ish with a  walker approaches me and asks 'do you like girls?' I said 'um.. yeah'. She replies 'well I need a boyfriend'. I declined.

She was dressed kind of raggy not attractive to me and I already have a gal friend I am quite happy with.

A verb conjured up to me and asked me if I was on my period, because I interjected several onomotopeatic  similies.

I hate when that happens. This post was edited by hey! I'M REAL BUSY! at June 8, 2019 8:40 AM MDT

    When WAS not When IS.

Yes, even I sometimes correct people.  Just not all the time.  So it's okay.
