Can you please explain to me why you don't belong in a medieval monestary?

  • If I lived in the Middle Ages, that sounds like the perfect occupation for me. Imagine getting to read books and study all the time. Sounds perfect to me :)

  • Aside from some of the barbaric torture practices, I think that would be perfect for you. Besides, who would ever harm such a cuddly kitten?

You're not the first person to ask me that question, ya know?

  • That doesn't surprise me. On the upside, you might still be able to enjoy a good wine with your meal.

Because the dresses were sooo heavy and look like a pain-in-the-waist and butt to get into.
Living in those castles or on the street does have plenty of rodents and insects crawling around, too.
And, I'm not one for watching people beat on each other as entertainment.
I also have this nagging habit of hanging out in this era.
Trust me.  It has its fashion downfalls, rodent problems, and violence, as well.  I just have the ablity now not to surround myself with it... back then, I don't think you had a choice.
They kind of still had the Trump problem back then, too.
We just can't seem to get away from it.  I know how to deal with it now.  I wouldn't know how to deal with it then.
Any monestary at any time is not for me.  I'm not sure who would suffer more.

  • You make some really good points although your magic would be highly regarded during those times. Well, I think your powerful wizardry is probably much more needed in these days of political smoke and mirrors.

  • I would live to be able to buy and live in this one. The ritual  orgies would be epic.

  • Forty thousand souls? That would be epic.

And no, that's not twisted in the least.

  • I'll give you credit for that. That's probably why I find you somewhat amusing.

I am neither chaste nor pious, and I seriously disagree with their worldview.

Mostly they are full of religious perverts proteced by their church's....George Pell Australia's Highest Roman Catholic Cardinal got just six years in prison on March 13 th this year....
Not such a bad result for him for sexually abusing young choir boys...l

He must have friends in the Law Society out there  as well...
There was no reprimand from the Vatican or High ups in their R.C.  church..

He will have to take what he is given and be thankful to be getting something in return.....with any luck he will turn the other cheek and take it like a man...
In his case it will be better to give than to recieve just as his big boss ordered...:)

  • 1)  Flunked virginity.

    2) Caught doing something unholy with a crucifix.

    3) Constant wardrobe failures with my habit.

    4) Got really hungry and ate all the Eucharist.

    5) Tried meditating but just kept thinking about Jesus naked.

    6) Offered to let missionaries practice on me.

    7) Found Mother Superior's special candles.

    8)  Thought vows of poverty meant shoplifting was okay.

    9) Wouldn't shave my head but offered to wear turban.

    10) Lead all the other sisters into temptation and blamed it on the Pope.
