    That depends...

    if you're a burglar, yes.
    otherwise, no
    (Wait, do cat claws count?)

Only the special knife I keep for opening letters.
All the rest are in the kitchen.

Not a knife but I have a few C cell and D cell batteries that I can reach and whip at an intruders chest then finish them off by smashing them with my fire extinguisher. I keep a few batteries in different locations around the house I find that I can throw a battery more accurately then a ball. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at June 12, 2019 8:29 AM MDT

Cool talent you've got there Nanoose. :)  I would never have thought of using batteries as a weapon not placing them accordingly around my house. Very sneaky... I like it! :) :)

It's also a way to recycle - gives a new use to old batteries. Cheers!

No.  The knives are in the kitchen and I'm in the bedroom.

There's a box cutter nearby, but I haven't used it on myself for awhile.

Yes.  I can see the knife I left out on the counter from cutting vegetables for our salads at dinner.  My chair is on rollers and it is just slightly out of reach. All I would need to do is roll about a foot and a half to the left.
