    Schmoozing is just mingling.  There is nothing about schmoozing that can cause pain unless you bring sociopathy and malignant narcissism to the mix.

  • Schmooze? Not really. I can be goofy, glib, sweet and sour. But it's whatever seems to manifest itself at the time.

    As far as ignoring people's pain, I cannot. Being around people who are often in emotional and physical pain is part of the nature of my chosen career path.
