They taste like someone took an oat stalk and put it in a blender and added some water.  Then hit pulse.  Then put it in some extractor that shoots out mini donut things.  It has no flavor at all.  It looks like a miniature donut made of wood chips.

  • It seems you can still trick babies into thinking they're food. That's before they know any better, of course.

  • Plain Cheerios are awful. Love the honey nut and frosted ones though :)

Try the multi-grain.  They are much better.  I mix half of those with half Kelloggs's Nourish and they're great.

They have great flavor me.  If you are used to the American Flavor profile I understand you perception.

Heavy Sweet, heavy Fat, Heavy processed  is the American Flavor profile.  When I am back Stateside and walk into a grocery store I can smell the excess sugar and processed flavors in the Cereal Aisle.  It also explains the extreme American overweight syndrome.

We just got back from experiencing same and were disgusted.  Forty year olds requiring motorized scooter because they cannot walk a block.  The majortiy of folks we saw or met were at least 20-40 lbs overweight and they were the thin folks who could still walk.  Huge portions with no flavor except extra sugar & Salt.  I will not digress further.
