Being elected by total strangers to a position for which you have no talent, education, experience, expertise must be EXCITING! Wanna be?

Add to that a childish temperament, lack of self-control, no moral core and who could ask for anything more? What's not to adore?

The first part of your question describes pretty much all politicians at the beginning of their political careers. Nobody is born a politician or become an instant success. It's an on the job learning experience like any other job. A fact many people just can't grasp. Some elected officials learn well and become what they are meant to be, a servant of the citizen's. Others never learn and become what you see in the socialist Democrats. The second part of your question not only describes many politicians but the liberal media and Hollywood as well. :) This post was edited by rusureamisure? at June 20, 2019 6:57 AM MDT

  • Let's see, childish temperament, lack of self control, no moral code, that's either a "spoiled brat" or a Democrat. Maybe you have to be one, to be the other. Seems to go hand in hand.

In response to the last part of your comment - the media and Hollywood aren't the president of the U.S.

You are correct. The media and Hollywood aren't the President of the U.S. However, the President was never mentioned in her question so my comment was in general just as her question was. If she had the President in mind when asking the question perhaps she should have mentioned such. :)

Those of us who know Rosie well know exactly to whom she is referring. :)

Happy Friday. :)  Once again, it's raining in NYC - I'm growing moss on the bottoms of my feet!

We  have been blessed with incredibly mild weather here in Hemet for this time of year. The high today will be 77! It will warm up to the high 80's but last year this time we were already flirting with triple digits!  Plus the plus for you is that everything is green and lush and loverly! Here we see hills that are brown..fields that are too. But we did have tons more rain this year than ever before so we were surrounded by green for months! It was lovely! Thank you for your reply L and Oh by the way Happy First Day of Summer! :) ((hugs))

You're right, the trees and grassy areas are lush and verdant, but we've had mostly rain since Mother's Day.  The nice part is that it's dark in the bedroom in the morning so I don't wake up too early.  It's high 60s right now, but the rain seems to have stopped and the next two days are supposed to be clear and the temp will hit low 80s.  Happy Summer to you, too. :)  ((hugs))

  • Yeah Boy! It almost makes you want to join the Democrat Party don't it. A person can win a House seat or control of a major city and use all of that lack of education and experience to slow down and impede the progress of the country, to say nothing of the popular will. But seriously, 2020 is shaping up like one of those years where you can join the parade of progress or better yet, stand on the curb and pout with the rest of the Dummycrats while the parade passes you by. Yep, happy days are here again.
