It depends on how close are you with that friend.

So the closer you are the MORE liberties you take? You can be rude or unkind or cruel or snarky? Can you give me an example of what you would not mind coming from a close friend that others might be offended by? Thank you for your reply Ritesh and Happy Wednesday!:)

I think liberties should not be defined  in negative way. A good friend is less likely to be rude or cruel. You;re expected to share most of your life with one you're close to! Happy Wednesday Rosie! This post was edited by Ritesh at July 10, 2019 12:28 PM MDT

Speaking only for myself, I wouldn't/don't take any kind of liberties with my friends or anyone else. Why would I?

Good question. That's why I asked it ru. Of course it is entirely possible that the "friendship" is one-sided. I guess that's how you tell right? I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to you m'dear! :)

You forgot Civil.  Civil liberties.  You cannot take those either with your friends.  No liberties should be taken.  Friends are to be honored and respected first and foremost and when you are goofing around you are not really taking liberties.  It is a mutual consent in playfulness.

  • There's more than one kind of friendship - But confiding in someone is always the biggest test.
