  • We did when I was really young. We affectionately called him 'Wino Ed' and he was the groundskeeper at a local church. All of us kids were convinced that he had murdered a few children and that they were buried in the yard behind the church.

    There's a pub in Tyalgum village that's been doing good trade for a century - open from lunch till midnight seven days a week.
    There tend to be few customers during week-days but it's always full at night. Saturday and Sunday lunches attract tourists.
    I'd guess that most of the regulars are probably soaks, or on their way to that identity.

    I don't know any of those people - I just pass by - have always hated the atmospheres of pubs.
