I have ever knowingly met anyone who's been in jail. However, I'm pretty sure that even in the worst U.S. jails, their conditions are better than conditions down at the border.
There's no sympathy for them here. They can volunteer to go back across the border and make life a lot better for everybody, including themselves. If they feel that jail would be an improvement, then by all means become a naturalized citizen first and then a career criminal second and then draw your own comparisons as to which is better.
.....One sees all of the photographs and videos of the horrendous situation with the Migrants and how they are living, and One SEES and listens to the Migrant stories of what they are going through, along with the reports from Drs and Congress People, and of the literal stench that has become the norm, for people searching for a better life.... Welcome to America. .....and then one sees the President of the US say that he has visited those places and everything is really good, Clean, plenty of food, water, and health support. ...Then ones sees the news videos of the inhumane treatment they receive and the situation they are in. .....Then you see the VP Pence check out the seen, with not a hint of compassion, blame it on the DEMs and say that one shouldn't believe any of the migrants stories. .....And then you hear the stories of the inhumane treatment they are receiving from the guards, and the obscene stories of oversexed guards upon the girls. Welcome to America as some of us think in our saddened hearts.
