There's gotta be a pony under all that manure! How does anyone plan to win an election by sucking up to only 40% of the voters?

Not president of the United States of America. But a 40% president? So the other 60% can go pound mud then? Mathematically it does not compute so otherwise elsewise things are afoot. What things?

That depends ... are we talking 40% of voters, or eligible voters?

Since (in 2016) only about 58% of eligible voters bothered to vote ... 40% of eligible voters would be a landslide.

Of course, if we're talking actual voters - it matters where they are and how their Electoral College votes are calculated.
Since 48 states have an "all or nothing" Electoral College ... even a popular minority can result in an EC majority.

It matters not. The point is he only panders to those who support him and attacks/insults those who don't. He has never once attempted to reach out to we who despise him. Not once. He is betting on his base and "election meddling/manipulation" to get him another "win". Thank you for your reply Walt. You focus on trees. I am looking at the forest. THE ECONOMY. THAT IS HOW. That is what people see, and that is how they vote.  PERIOD.  No one cares whether Trump is diddling Putin or his sister.  Or his daughter.   They care about security and LYING TRUMP says we are secure and he is responsible.

THAT IS ALL AMERICA IS SEEING.  PERIOD.  We argue on here, but no one does that in real time on the streets of most of America.  They do not care and we are doomed.

So the Kapistocrats are ONE-DIMENSIONAL pocketbook level people. That is all they care about. Of course. Greed is good . Ayn Rand and Gordon Gekko said so. Thank you for your reply Sharon and Happy Tuesday.
