    What in gods name were you doing in Djibouti ?  I am there every other month - it is not a place for tourists.  Element you do/did have cajones or just bad luck.

    Our ship stopped there to re-supply the Embassy...especially with beer and liquor. We were told not to leave the ship, as there was nothing to do. The Ambassador had a party for the crew, but I had duty and couldn't go. One of the other chiefs invited him to breakfast. He showed up wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. He brought his appetite and said it was about time he got some real food.
