What is a song, that when you hear it, you either immediately change the station or turn the radio off because you hate the song?

I'll answer my own question.

"Never Be the Same"  Camilla Cabello

EDIT: I don't know how to spell her name -  I've seen it spelled ten million different ways

Too many to list here. I seldom listen to over-the-air radio anyway.

    Thanks, Don Barzini.
    That makes sense.

Sometimes I don't what the songs are for me until I hear them and I find myself turning the song off.

"Don't Worry, Be Happy" -- I just hate it, I hate it passionately.
"Get Out of My Dreams (Get Into My Car)" -- sounds like a serial rapist's or a child-molester's coaxing line.
"I'm Too Sexy For My Shirt" -- putrid and vile.

    And many more.

I have to admit I do like the cockiness of the Right Said Fred song -- yeah, and I also admit I'm attracted to his physical appearance in the music video, too. But I get your point.
    :)

Those first two songs you listed, too -- I've never liked them, either.

I enjoy reading all these answers. Thanks for joining.

Yeah, I have certain artists/groups that are that way for me, too.
    :)

Taylor Swift is that way for me, Except there are about two or three songs I like from her.

Springsteen can't sing, but only one song of his I really can't stand - "Born in the USA". Monotonous.
U2 did some reasonable stuff in the mid to late 80s - the Unforgettable Fire was quite good, the Joshua Tree and Rattle & Hum were tolerable. Everything they've done since has been irredeemable crap, utterly without merit.

  • Every U2 track is insufferable.  One of the worst bands ever recorded.  Not only are their songs stupid,  Bono sounds like a menstruating cat when he sings.

I'm not so harsh with U2 as I am with Springstein. He is rediculously overrated This post was edited by Jon at July 21, 2019 7:42 PM MDT

Anything by U2 was EXACTLY what I was going to write! Now I've got to think of something else, dammit.

I meant to reply that I don't agree that all of their songs are crap, though. I've heard covers that I find quite nice. It's that f-ing voice that ruins them all.

Been second guessing myself again a bit lately in life, let alone in my written words on the site, -  by my smile and Ha in my other comment to you -- I meant it all in a very good way.
    :)

Hell - - I wrote an answer to another question a bit ago and deleted it in five minutes. Whatever. Thanks for listening. Off to work.

I seldom, if ever, listen to rap. And I haven't ever heard any that I really like.

    Good to see you!

Mariah  Carey. Everything and anything that comes out of that womans mouth give me diarrhea.
I cannot stand the sound of her. Every song she sings sounds EXACLTY like all the others.

She can hold a note and actually sing, SO WHAT!
She makes my skin crawl and I can not properly convey exactly how much I cannot stand her or her crappy music.
