We will outlaw assault weapons. Then there will be a huge spate of bombings. Then we will find a way to stop it and then? They will do chemical warfare that is invisible. No matter how we try to be safe, a worse and more evil weapon will be created by minds who want to kill. Minds who live to kill people. Yes. They exist and some of them are raised by people just like us.
How do you stop that? You never can. There are diseased minds and we cannot stop it. Look what we have for our leader.

What is an assault rifle? Technically, an “assault rifle” is defined as “an intermediate-range, magazine-fed military weapon designed to be fired with two hands from the shoulder "that can be set for automatic or semiautomatic fire”. Thos particular rifles are already highly regulated and very difficult for anyone to purchase. Those who don’t know what they are talking about and those who want to get rid of guns and don’t mind lying to do so have extended this to include semi-automatic versions of any sort of rifle. Legal definitions are what is specified in laws which specify “assault rifles” instead of the more accurate and politically ineffective “Modern Sporting Rifles” (MSR) or the marginally accurate “assault-style rifles. As usual, most politicians know little to nothing about firearms of any kind and it shows.
Through all the talk of gun violence, the perpetrator is usually left out. After a mass shooting people go into a panic and may automatically assume that guns are the source of evil. Even though the perpetrator is (hopefully) held responsible for the crimes committed, the firearm is what makes the news. Guns may be used in most cases to help cause harm to others. But it is not the firearm doing the harm. Instead of looking to all guns, look instead to the perpetrators. Cain killed Abel with a rock. Back then it wasn’t a gun problem, and people still died. It’s a heart problem.
