    I've never initiated a relationship.
When a relationship ended it was always me who insisted on it.

Shortest duration, six weeks - and that one was the hardest because I was deeply in love.
I discovered that he had another woman.

Thank God you found out then.  And not six years later.

    I agree.

But it tore me up with grief and depression
The other woman had apparently been with him for some three years.

For my part, I was never able to love as deeply again.

Would this count? --------- when I was about 14, I started hanging out with a neighborhood chick. There was no romance at all. We couldn't communicate. I stopped hanging out with her after about a week. I decided that we were not a match. When she eventually married, it was to the son of a local wealthy guy.

  • GRAMMATICALLY AWKWARD -

    Weak subject-predicate construction.

Less confusing: How long was your shortest romantic relationship ...

Sorry, but this means its over between us.

No, my dear. The specific focus of the question is more on you having ended the relationship than what you’ve stated in your example.  I will agree with you, however, that I should have worded it gooderer then i dun.

Have you ever been fake engaged for just a few hours on AnswerMug and then had the fake marriage, fake cheating, fake divorce, REALLY fake alimony and fake getting back together, all within a few days?

That’s twice you omitted the apostrophe. I don’t even know who you are any more. Don’t ever try to find me!

    (babies)

I “fake forgot” to tell you that I had a vasectomy years ago. Any fake babies you have from the fake relationship with me are a fake result of your fake cheating, even though you fake accused me of fake being the one who fake cheated on you. Faker.

  • I checked on your bogus vasectomy at Our Lady of Antarctica Hospital For the Lame.  Dr. Fugazi removed your kidney instead - because fake emergency.

So get back here and pay unreal sums to raise your alleged spawn :

Wait, what?  So that's why I never feel full whenever I eat kidney beans!  As for Lunchette and Laundromat over there, I don't recognize them at all. My blood type is root beer, and my DNA matches the bar code on the grammar encyclopedia. If they don't match that, see your last ex before me.

I don't know Randy.  I hate to intrude but I must.  He looks exactly how I picture you AND he has a sandwich-in-hand.
How much more can you ask for a mini-you??

    nonononononono

You remind me of a person on here who's name rhymes with dropwith.

You start out so strong.  But you forget.  I am here.  I am not only a grammarian, I can THINK, I can wait, I can fast till the cows come home.

My point is, that you did not address the part of the question about who initiated.  WHOM.   ????

So, it is not over between you two.  You both NEED ME to clarify life for you both.

I was with this person 12 years before we got married. After that period, we finally got married and it didn't last 3 months. The thing was that she got a divorce, but didn't tell me. A very messy period in my life that I don't wish to discuss any further.

Does it count if only one person thinks they are in a romantic relationship?
