One of the nicknames attributed to me at one point in my life was Dudley Dooright.

Born with that ability? No, it was a learning process. I think the first example was playing with matches when I was eight. My sister and I caught a garage on fire.

Not really, I generally followed the rules.  If a rule made no sense I did ask why it existed.  I did learn to break the rules from a few excellent teachers, mentors, and fellow miscreants.

    Neither.

Like most of us, I was born with an innate sensitivity to social situations.
I learned that learning the rules is vital to survival and success.
And later I learned that various situations allow or demand flexibility.

I'm not by temperament inclined to be a rule-breaker,
but if I think a rule is unjust I will fight against it.
