It's beginning to seem that way. Emily Thornberry has promised that if the Labour Party were in government, she would negotiate a Brexit deal but then urge the UK public to reject it!

    She's managed to out-Boris Boris!

Condolences Rev! It's not enough that we have a berserk bloated billious bully at the helm of the US ship of state. You have your own version too. In a worst-case scenario (for laughs only Rev) Boris should become a U.S. citizen and be the veep for the chump in the 2020 election. I know our Constitutions says only a "natural born" citizen can be prez but what about the veep? I'm gonna ask. Thank you for your reply and the link(s)? and Happy Sunday to you m'dear! :)

Boris is a Trump wannabe, but unlike His Royal Orangeness, he CAN be pushed out by a vote of no confidence - or be dismissed by the Queen if government becomes unworkable. Government shutdowns as occurred in the US last Christmas can't happen in the UK, Her Majesty wouldn't allow it.
If the Queen was to dismiss Parliament, it forces an immediate general election - and she'd be compelled to abdicate if the government were returned, her position would become untenable. It's happened before (in Australia in 1975). The last monarch to dismiss the British Parliament didn't abdicate - he was beheaded.
