Does the tribulation have anything to do with Donald Trump presidency or is there something worse yet to come?

We’ll see how that pans out if it happens.

Since I’ve found the Bible to be so repeatedly inaccurate about where we came from, I’ve found no reason to lend credence to what it says about where we are going.

Ive never read a more provable book  in my life. And the evidence of its accuracy is continuously coming in.

    Read. Learn.

Expand your perspective beyond the derived mythical narratives that have weighed down humanity, and provide no contact with the natural world.

Never. I do not love my life to the death. And thats what I would be doing if I took the mark.

I believe in jesus and the bible, but honestly i have doubts about the book of revelation. Why accepting a physical mark would deny us from God's favor ?

whatever. I doubt we will see the end of the world in my era.

The eternal destiny of those who take the mark of the beast is the lake of fire. One may ask, why is taking the mark of the beast a damnable sin against God? Why would God condemn a person to hell for taking the mark of the beast? It would appear that taking the mark of the beast will be a blasphemous act of willful defiance against God. Receiving the mark of the beast is essentially worshipping Satan. Those who take the mark have made the choice to serve Satan rather than obey God and receive Christ as Savior. When people make that decision during the tribulation, God will grant their request to be eternally separated from Him.

No, I'm not a Jehovah's Witness. I am a believer in and follower of Jesus the Messiah. Born-again and adopted into the family of God. The churches I attended most often were the Independent Bible Churches and Baptist Churches. :)

Its a spiritual War. The Book of Revelation is a final test to see whos side we are on.

I agree it is a spiritual war. As Christians, we are in a spiritual battle of some sort daily. In warfare, battles are fought on different fronts, for different reasons, and with varying degrees of intensity. The same is true with spiritual war. Our spiritual battles and warfare are real, even though we cannot physically see the attacker. :)

  • "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...I will fear no evil..."

I have often heard it pointed out that even in times when we are surrounded by the darkest of shadows, there is still light present.  Even shadows can not exist without the awesome power of light.  So I focus not on the dark, rather I choose to look to the life-giving light.

If I am here at such a time as you are referencing then I am sure I will do much the same as I strive currently to do.  Love the Lord even more so in those dark times.  Love others and show them compassion especially in a time of great need.  I will not take any prophesied mark foretold in the biblical text and I will do just as I do daily in life...proclaim without shame or fear of reprisals even unto death that I believe Jesus Christ to be the son of God and my savior, the hope of all mankind.  I believe it is by his blood alone that I am made free from sin and the peace that comes from that freedom feels sooooo good.  I am loved beyond measure and neither Satan nor his counterfeit kingdom has any permanent hold on me.
