She does sometimes. It doesn’t always bother me, there are times I can just ignore it. Other times I gently nudge her or roll her over and it stops.

No, she doesn't. I do...that's why I have my own bedroom.

I keep foam earplugs on my nightstand for such occurrences. If need be, I stick them in my ears and sleep like a baby.

On rare occasions. Not it does not normally bother me.  But if it gets loud, can just move his a little and it will stop long enough for me to get to sleep.

He is the only person I know with sleep apnea who does not snore like a freight train.

I normally go to sleep first.

Yes. He's not overweight like the majority of snorers. Au contraire. He's tiny, wiry, and almost skeletally thin - has shrunk two inches since he turned sixty, and has lost half his muscle mass. He's ten years older than me.

He doesn't snore all night, but when he does it goes few a few hours at a time. It wakes me, and then as long as it continues I can't get back to sleep.
In addition, he steals the blankets in his sleep. I've no idea how he manages it - only that I wake up cold and only half covered, while on his side the blanket have fallen over the bed and touch the carpet.

And he's developed what I call "old-man" smell - exactly like the male residents I used to care for in nursing homes and the community. I suspect it has something to do with loss of testosterone. Unfortunately for me, I can't seem to overcome my repugnance. The thing that helps most is if he showers, washes his hair and wears sandalwood oil, but it doesn't bring back the wonderful man-smell that he once had.

We've been sleeping separately for six years now. He gets the king-size bed. I sleep on the couch. It's the only way I know of that I can sleep undisturbed.

BTW - I still love him - in spite of all the vicissitudes of marriage.

Try foam earplugs - a very inexpensive and effective solution.
