Construction on a skyscraper ... repair of wind generator towers ... lineman
Anything involving working at heights, really.  Because I have a strong fear of falling.  lol

Fear of heights. Since I was 3 that is me. I will never work in a skyscraper above the 3rd floor. I passed up a potentially lucrative job decades ago in Century City. I think it was on the 10th floor. Even at a fairly low height (oxymoron) my knees get weak if I look over the edge of a balcony. I do not control it. It controls me. Thank you for your reply Walt and Happy Wednesday to thee. FYI Many decades ago when Jim lived in northern California he had a job painting the Golden Gate Bridge along with the painting crew. It required him to be at very high heights and he says he never once minded it...didn't even notice it. When he looked down he felt nothing. Even describing it to you gives me the heeby jeebies. I don't know what it is within that causes it. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

I've seen pictures of building skyscrapers in NYC, in the early to mid 1900s.
Allegedly, they used a lot of "tribal" members on the construction crews because they had little fear of heights and extraordinary balance.

I think the most reviled profession is lawyer.  That is different than the answers of some here.  They wouldn't want to do a particular job, but the profession itself is not necessarily held in low esteem (except Trump's barber).

If I was his barber, I would be very tempted.

One would have to get through that fatty tissue to do that.

There are more than one worst. I have worked several, I should know.  The job is never the big problem, it is the people you work with.  They make the worst jobs great if the people are great;  and the best ones horrid if they are horrid.
