He doesn't have the right to DESTROY the most powerful country in the world.

He doesn't have the right to break the law.

You don't understand a thing about politics.

WE ARE PAYING THIS CLOWN,  NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.  HE WORKS FOR US.  OKAY?  He doesn't get to do what he wants.  He is a GOVERNMENT SERVANT of the PEOPLE.  HELLO?

  • That is one of his biggest problems...constantly bragging about himself.  He serves only his overly inflated ego and it is quite unbecoming.  I would personally love to see that pitifully shallow vapid example of a man show some true humility for once.  Dare I even dream that he also show some humanity?

Picture anyone who has any manners or decorum acting like he is in your video.  It is hard to believe this is not some comedy where the actor is portaying a stupid oaf who thinks he is really something.  He thinks everyone is going to bow to him.  And when he closes his jacket at the end.  Like he is so proud of himself for pushing the others out of the way.  I would DIE of embarrassment if I were him.  But NO.  He is so stupid, he is proud of this.  PROUD.

And you think he is funny.  Sure if he was just an actor, he would be hilarious.  This is the leader of the most powerful country in the world.  OR IT WAS until he embarrassed us off the world stage.  Even our allies are horrified.  This is an OAF.  A STUPID ROTTEN OAF.

He has a right to be president of Canada. I hear all y'all are fed up with your cute PM and looking for an ogre to privatize your healthcare.
    Good luck!

I believe Muhummad Ali is credited with the expression, "It's not bragging if you can do it."

An issue with Trump is his braggadocio far exceeds his actual accomplishments.

Yes, he is probably quite wealthy by any reasonable standard (although since he won't release his tax returns, how do we know?)

But that's because his father gave him nearly A HALF BILLION DOLLARS. People who start with $400+ million dollars tend to be able to stay rich, even if they aren't the brightest people in the world. Moreover, several analyses of Trump's probable wealth suggest he would be even wealthier if he had simply invested his $400 million starter kitty broadly in the financial markets (which only requires being prudent and patient, not any exceptional acumen).

Then there is the trail of bankrupt and failed businesses that Trump has started or lent his name to. Is running a casino, an airline, a vodka company, a steak company, and on and on and on, into the ground reason to be bragging?

As for his getting elected, he exploited a number of unusual circumstances and demographic oddities which did not appear in any prior Presidential election and many of which are unlikely to occur again. I don't believe that gives him reason to brag any more than someone who happens to buy a winning Powerball ticket should brag about what a great "investor" he or she is.

Under the principle of free speech, anyone has the right to brag.

    But boasting is idiotic.
If the braggart later makes a mistake (and soon or later everyone does)
all that crowing is proved false and the person ends up, at the very least, with egg on the face.

As soon as anyone boasts, they expose themselves to the scepticism of others and the likelihood that others will go to considerable effort to check the facts.
The more powerful the position of the boaster, the more likely the fact checks.

Blowing one's own trumpet could also be taken as a sign of lack of emotional and social intelligence - because most people actively dislike boasters.

Sure, The Fool has the right to say whatever he wants, and despite his glaring insecurities and his despotic protests to the contrary, we all have the very same right to call him out on his BS.  This post was edited by Don Barzini at December 8, 2019 2:50 PM MST

    Lower taxes
    Higher
    GDP
    Higher wages
Record low unemployment for Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women etc
Lowest Unemeployment rate in 50 years
Stock market continues to break record after record
Islamic State has NO land in its control
We are not at war with NOKO, Iran etc
We have negotiated new trade deals (House needs to vote on them)
Border is more secure than in decades
NATO members are beginning to pay their responsibility for their defense
Toughest President on Russia since Reagan

Yes he has a reason to brag.

Ahem, some of those are conjecture.. at very least stretching the truth somewhat... e.g. Nato members beginning to pay.. .actually they haven't yet.. they've only talked about it and made vague promises, (UK always paid their fair share) and as for toughest President on Russia.. well, I beg to differ, indeed it might be truer to say the opposite is true.

Whenever you hear a Trump supporter factoid dump, apply the following translation:

    1) He's "owning the libs"

    2) He's making sure to hurt the Brown...er, sorry, forgot to translate to Dog Whistle...he's making sure to hurt "the right people"

In the end, that's mostly what they care about.

For example, take the claims of low taxes and good economic growth. Those may be accurate in the narrow sense, but they ignore crucial context. One is that any tax cut without a corresponding spending cut is not a tax cut at all. It is a tax DEFERMENT. The money borrowed to fill the budget hole will have to be paid back, with interest, down the road by other taxpayers.

Another is that Trump has run near-trillion dollar annual deficits while in office. I recall when President Obama wanted to do some deficit spending to "prime the pump" of a collapsing economy. Critics insisted that the $800 billion he wanted to spend was way too much and would blow up the deficit and forever saddle our grandchildren with horrible debt.

Now Trump routinely runs those kinds of deficits, and his supporters don't care two figs about it. Though I'm sure if Warren or Biden or Sanders or Buttigeg wins the next presidential election, we'll be back to hearing how immoral it is that we're saddling our grandchildren with this horrible debt and we can't possibly afford a Green New Deal and why don't the Democrats cut taxes some more to stimulate the economy and blah blah blah.

For anyone actually paying attention and with a sense of history, this is laughably predictable.

    "1) He's "owning the libs"

    2) He's making sure to hurt the Brown"

Do not put words in my mouth.  Words I have never spoken.

Fact dump. It is facts. I know it is hard to push back on this GREAT economy President Trump had made.  So yes of course pull the race card.

For a "racist" Trump has a funny way of showing it. ( Lookout a fact dump coming)

Trump has a funny way of being a racist:
    He's  executed a white supremacist.

He deported the Nazi living in NY for decades.
    Attempting to defund Planned Parenthood

He's helped to free a black rapper from a foreign jail.

He's presided over historic levels of low unemployment among minorities and raising wages.

He's passed prison reform that directly benefits families of black men.

He calls out absent leaders of a city where minorities are the main victims of crime and blight.

It’s the liberal machine inflicting the suffering. No wonder they want Trump to shut up about it.

Oh, gosh, does it hurt to feel criticized by proxy because of your group affiliation? Must be rough...

Of course, it didn't stop you from doing the same thing to "the libs" ("it's the liberal machine inflicting the suffering"). Maybe you should address the log in your own eye before criticizing the mote in others? I think someone famous said that once...

I actually agree with you on one point: Trump is probably not racist in the strict definition sense. He is definitely sexist (as evidence by his treatment of women throughout his life), but racism is just a brand he sells because it gets him the cheering crowds at his rallies and votes at the ballot box. There is a plethora of evidence to support this claim.

As for a large plurality of his supporters? I stand by my previous claims.

There is no denying Liberals have been in charge of the big city governments for decades.

Attacking Trump supporters will not loose one vote for Trump.

When I say Libs I am talking about politicans. I never say anything about voters.

    Sexist you say?
Trump has appointed more women to powerful government positions than any other in US history.

    Trump women appointed to administration:

His list of female appointees is long: Nikki Haley, Ambassador to the United Nations (not only a woman but also child of Indian American Sikh immigrants); Elaine Chao, Secretary of Transportation; Kirstjen Nielsen, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security; Dr. Heather Wilson, Secretary of the Air Force; Sarah Sanders, White House Press Secretary; Kellyanne Conway, Counselor to the President; Linda McMahon, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration; Betsy DeVos, Secretary of Education; Jovita Carranza, U.S. Treasurer (also a minority and first-generation Mexican American immigrant); Neomi Rao, Regulation Czar (also a minority and daughter of parents from India); Seema Verma, Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (also a minority); Heather Brand, Associate Attorney General; Kelly Sadler, Director of Surrogate & Coalitions Outreach; Mercedes Schlapp, Senior Communications Advisor (also a minority whose father was once a political prisoner of Fidel Castro); Ivanka Trump, Advisor to the President; Hope Hicks, Communications Director; Jessica Ditto, Deputy Director of Communications; and Dina Powell, Deputy National Security Adviser who according to White House sources will remain in her position through the end of January and will likely be replaced by another woman after Powell completes her first year in office

    Yes, sexist I say...

    Number of wives: 3

Number of mistresses: unknown, but many

Number of women paid off not to reveal affairs with him: at least 2

Number of times he's made creepy comments about f***ing his own daughter: many

Number of p***ies grabbed: Many, going by his own reports

Number of times he has poo-pooed charges of sexual misconduct by saying "The woman is too ugly for me to have done that": at least two I'm aware of.

And on and on and on...

Meanwhile, I find it curious you tout Trump's "non-sexist" credentials by citing the number of women he has hired for his administration. I thought "conservatives" were all about hiring the best person for the job, regardless of membership in identity groups.

Now you're turning around and saying, "Gee, look at all the wimmin folk Trump hired?"

Thank your for reinforcing my analysis that Trump voters don't actually care about policy in the traditional sense.

You don't care that Trump's great economy has come at the expense of massive deficit spending.

And you're perfectly willing to "play the race/sex card" yourself if it allows you to say "See, Trump's awesome!"

In short, you have no coherent set of political values outside of "owning the libs"

Thank you for proving my point for me....

I do not defend Trump actions in his personal life.
I do not consider divorce and remarriage as evidence of sexism.
No one claims these women were hired for their gender. They were hired because of their qualifications for the job. They happen to be women.

If this were any other adminstration, we would have heard the media tout how gender the glass ceilings are being shattered. How this is the year of the woman. How women are being elevated in this administration. Etc.
Instead we are told how sexist this President is and how old white and male it is. And people wonder why the media is called fake.

I did not play the race nor the gender card. Neither topic was broughten up by me. And providing evidence to the contrary is not playing the race card. This post was edited by my2cents at December 10, 2019 10:19 AM MST

When Trump took office  only 5 countries: the U.S., Britain, Greece, Poland, Estonia, spent the expected 2 percent of their GDP or more on defense.

Currently the 7 countries: United States, Britain, Greece, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

NATO Sec General Stoltenberg also said that by the end of 2020, allies will have invested $130 billion more since 2016. (When Trump took office) They have even reevaluated the budget share as well saving the US $150M a yr by agreeing that the US will NOT pay more than the next highest paying member (Germany).

So yes, countries starting to pay their share.

In response to Russian interference in the 2016 election and other malfeasance, the Trump Administration has sanctioned Russian oligarchs and intelligence entities.

Throughout 2017 and 2018, the U.S. sanctioned numerous Russian actors for violating non-proliferation laws by supporting weapons programs in Iran and Syria, and supporting North Korea's development of weapons of mass destruction.

The Trump Administration has issued sanctions against more than one hundred Russian actors and firms for Russia's destabilizing actions in Ukraine and its ongoing occupation of Crimea.

In March 2017, in response to Russia's use of a military-grade chemical weapon in the United Kingdom, the Trump Administration ordered multiple Russian consulates in the United States closed and expelled 60 Russian intelligence officers.

Due to sanctions imposed by the Trump Administration, the Russian economy and Russian geo-economic projects have been severely constrained.

In 2018, as Russian investors reacted to new sanctions, the Russian Ruble made its biggest fall in over three years, and, as of July 2018, is down nearly nine percent against the dollar.

As a part of its sanctions against Russia, the United States has prevented numerous companies from partnering with Russian offshore oil projects, denying these projects access to capital and key resources.

The Trump Administration has also opposed Russian President Vladimir Putin's largest geo-economic project, the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which could generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for Russia.

In the wake of Russian provocations, President Trump has exercised U.S. military power and worked to bolster U.S. allies in Europe.

In 2017, President Trump approved the sale of lethal weapons to Ukraine addressing the country's vulnerability to Russian-backed separatists in its eastern provinces.

Under the Trump Administration, Russian mercenaries and other pro-Syrian regime forces attacking U.S. troops in Syria were killed.

The U.S. has increased troops and its military capability in Eastern Europe and dramatically increased training and drills with its NATO partners.

In 2018, the U.S. Department of Defense increased its spending as part of the European Deterrence Initiative by $1.4 billion dollars.

Due to pressure from President Trump, U.S.' NATO allies have increased defense expenditures by five percent.

Very little of what you list has anything to do with Trump’s actions or his Presidency. In fact, arguments can be made that much of it occurred DESPITE Trump and his policies. The Rooster taking credit for the sunrise.

Is it truly lost on you that a larger section of the nation still want the man removed than support him?

That said, it has not escaped anyone’s notice how you and the other cult members refuse to acknowledge the long list of problems Trump’s idiocy has wrought, the endless lies, blind denial and false claims, or the many bold promises as yet unfulfilled. Keep propping up the despicable man. He needs your fealty.
