Even people who don't like coffee, love the smell. Are you one of those wackjobs that don't like the SMELL of covfefe?

I like the smell of coffee beans (ground coffee can be a bit too pungent) before they have been ground and used to make coffee.

OTOH, I absolutely loathe the smell of burnt coffee. When I was an adolescent to young adult, my parent's house smelled of burnt coffee almost daily, because my mother would attempt to reheat coffee in a small saucepan on the stove, get bored/distracted, wander off, and forget that she had put coffee on to heat (in retrospect, she was demonstrating signs of dementia even then). So the coffee would burn and the house would reek of it. This post was edited by SaltyPebble at January 14, 2020 5:05 PM MST

(That comma doesn’t belong there.  The entire first sentence is a continuing clause with no break in thought nor mood nor action.)

One of the many reasons I do not drink coffee, do not like coffee is its stench. That utterly vile bile and the foul odor it emits are the utmost of putridness, absolutely gag-worthy. Did I happen to mention that I’m not a fan?

Randy, it is a matter of writing-style.  Luckily, every person has a preference as to how they feel they can communicate best.
Grammatically correct or not, the idea of writing is sharing a thought.
In my mind, your suggestion would read better if written as such:

I do not like coffee for many reasons but the one reason that stands true to me is the horrid smell it omits when brewing. It gags me to be in a room knowing the utterly vile, bile, is releasing an oily stench in the air I am breathing.
Did I happen to mention I am not a big fan?
It is all in how your mind puts the words together to get the point across.
I appreciate your take on her question but also know, it is all in the mind that receives the message.
    All are acceptable.
    :) :)!

Randy has his own style.  Someone needs to tell Randy ( I think you just did) that it is not the only style.   I am fine with him.  I just let him rattle.

If babbling long-winded rhetoric is your idea of a style, Randy is indeed master.

If trolling is your bag, Randy again.

Well, the coma, like your comments, just was not helpful, so I omitted it.    It's not a continuing clause if you pause.

And I paused for a REASON.

    So there.

I cannot believe you have to endure the coffee smell if you hate it so much.  It is everywhere.  Poor you.
