  • I can talk to anyone on a superficial level,  But when it comes to getting close to people, I think that’s what I’m shy of.

    I was painfully shy as a young tyke. Not at all upon hitting my teens.  Sometimes, I may be quiet, brooding, and reserved which can be erroneously misinterpreted as shy to those who have just met me or don't know me well enough. This post was edited by Jon at January 28, 2020 4:30 AM MST

    I was going so say reserved and guarded, too. I have trust issues which come with their own probs in my relationships with others. Too many times I've been burned and the scars are very difficult to penetrate. It is a testament to Twinkle and his outgoing, loving, sweet and patient personality that he has been able to penetrate them with understanding, yet it is not always easy.   • First, I loved Jackie!  She was the opening act for The Beatles when I saw them perform in Chicago in the 60's!  
    Second, yes .. I can be shy .. but mostly, I'm more of a private person.  When I'm around people I know and trust, I'm much more open.
