I was surprised they did not get Mitt in line. He just hates Trump for saying he choked in 2012. And not appointing him to Sec of State.

    Hopefully, someone primaries him.

I dislike Romney, but if you paid any attention whatsoever, you would have heard his reasoning for voting to Impeach.
The Republicans are nothing more than sheep trying to save their own skin.

You should now add "Mind Reader" to your resume.
I believe Romney to be a man of his faith. Anyone who claims they are and who stands by the orange Christ is not.

Try staying on-topic. Hillary is not part of the discussion.

I do not question his faith. That is between God and him.

But I do know his history. And the only time Romney said anything good about Trump was when he wanted Trump's endorsement and an appointment to the Cabinet.

He is flip flop on everything. If a person is listening to God they are be steady and consistant.

There is nothing to question.  His actions are what matter.  He is a rapist and a liar and a killer and doesn't have a passing acquaintance with why people pray or how someone's wife could care that her husband died.  Remember that insane speech he gave where he was incredulous because some war hero's wife was distraught that he died?  He couldn't wrap his mind around how that could matter to anyone's wife.

That is the kind of love he buys with his money.

You recently posted "Isn't everything subjective?"---I responded that actually, no, not everything is.

If everything were subjective, then opinions would have no value because it would be a toss up as to whether any opinion was right or wrong.

You never responded to that post of mine in which I brought up the issue.

Of course, if one thinks there are no objective standards, one is able to post seemingly dispositive statements that actually have no basis in fact.

Or would you disagree with my sentence immediately prior to this one?

Hilary?  Why are we bringing that psycho who cannot even stick with her own party into this mix?  She is the reason Trump made it.  Her and corruption on Trump's end.  Bernie would have won.

You cannot abide a man simply voting his conscience? You are not his constituent are you? Your “argument” is vain, short-sighted and parroted from the media you so regularly denounce. Didn’t think we would notice?

More obedient lemmings would be a happy comfort to one like you in thrall to a despot so desperately in need of them, but less than useful or credible in this forum, or in service to a democracy.

But then, have you served your country?

I had hoped that Collins and Murkowski would have joined Mitt, but they lost their nerve at the end.  I give Mitt a lot of credit for standing out in the field alone.  I'm sure Trump will try to find any number of ways to make him pay for his "treachery."

Precisely.  It appears they are all capable of selling their souls so Big Mouth doesn't call them names on social media.  I hope they're all run out of office.

I can't vote for either Collins or Murkowski, but I surely hope that whoever can, votes for a Democrat in those states.

He gave Rush Limbaugh the American Freedom Award.

How can that jerk even have the nerve to accept such an award?  Given to him by the most demented person alive.  What an honor. But then again, it is Rush Limbaugh.  What is he going to give Bill O'Reilley, the Vice Presidency?

Giving Rush Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom is like giving Jeffrey Dahmer the International Culinary Award. This post was edited by SpunkySenior at February 7, 2020 9:47 PM MST

How much money did Dahmer gove and raise for charity?
Rush Limbaugh holds an annual fundraising telethon called the "EIB Cure-a-Thon"[195] for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.[196] In 2006, the EIB Cure-a-Thon conducted its 16th annual telethon, raising $1.7 million,[197] totaling over $15 million since the first cure-a-thon.[198] According to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society annual reports, Limbaugh personally contributed between $100,000 and $499,999 from 2000–2005 and 2007,[199]and Limbaugh said that he contributed around $250,000 in 2003, 2004 and 2005.[200]NewsMax reported Limbaugh donated $250,000 in 2006,[201] and the Society's 2006 annual report placed him in the $500,000 to $999,999 category.[199]Limbaugh donated $320,000 during the 2007 Cure-a-Thon,[202] which the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society reported had raised $3.1 million.[203] On his radio program April 18, 2008, Limbaugh pledged $400,000 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society after being challenged by two listeners to increase his initial pledge of $300,000.

You really should have done some research on who is Jeffrey Dahmer before commenting.

I did not advocate for giving Dahmer any award. Nor did I make the original comparison of Rush and Dahmer. ...there is no comparing. No research on Dahmer needed.

Rush has raised and donated MILLIONS of dollars for cancer.

We knew this part was going to happen and we did it anyway.

Guess what the House can do and will do?

Impeach him again.  There is much more and it is coming out.

Yep....they will continue to try again and again. All the more reason to make supporters of President Trump more determined to take control of the entire Congress.
