One former classmate, at a high school reunion, told me that he was impressed with me all through junior high and high school. To him, I was an "enigma" (his word); he couldn't "figure me out" because, unlike everyone else in school, he saw me as not fitting into any certain peg. I was in a wide variety of activities. And he saw me getting along with everyone, while everyone else chose to hang around with, and get along with, only certain groups of peers.
Years ago I had a friend who came in from California to see me---He said I was the only person he knew who still used his brain after graduating from college.
And believe it or not, I am known for my humor.
I've also been told over the years by various individuals that I am the smartest person they know.
