Vicky. Kent. Robert. I tried to recall names of students from my kindergarten class, I was stumped at three.

 

  What are the names of students from your kindergarten class can you list without looking them up somehow?

      Lol. 

      I was surprised that I could only remember three names from my class. A decade or two ago, I could have rattled off at least fifteen of their names.

    I went to country school for my kindergarten year. I was the only kindergartener there. It also happened to be the last year that school was opened. From first grade on I went to public school. So I don't have any trouble remembering who my classmates were in kindergarten. Lol.

    I remember them because they were in later grades with me.  I remember Juan the most.  I remeber him because there was a board with different shapes cut out of it in the classroom.  He always tried to pound the wrong shapes into the holes.  He never obeyed the teachers' instructions in kindergarten, elementary school or high school, either.  In high school, he was the only student in the school's history who needed to use the shower in the chemistry classroom.  The firemen came to clean up his mess.

    My memory's not as good as it used to be.  I can still see most of them, even hear some of their voices, but many of their names escape me.

      I agree with you about privacy and not posting people‘s full names. 

      You hit the nail on the head with the phenomenon of being to still see their faces in your mind’s eye. It’s the same for me; either I remember only three names because those are the only faces I remember, or I remember their faces because those are the only names I remember.
