This morning, I poured a glass of water from a bottle in the fridge.  It was too cold to drink, so I poured out half and filled the rest with tap water. This post was edited by SpunkySenior at May 21, 2021 9:50 PM MDT

A can of beer. I got distracted half-way into and it got too warm to drink.

About 5 lbs of peanuts from the bag into the bird seed container. Because there are already some peanuts in the mix and peanuts aren't cheap. I already spend more than I should feeding wild animals!

I've always thought that peanuts are dirt cheap.

For nuts (which they aren't), yes. Compared to corn, millet and other grains mixed with sunflower seeds, not cheap.

I once heard a song with these lyrics:

    Peanuts may technically be legumes,
but to the general public they are nuts.

They're one of my favorite legumes and least favorite nuts. Ha!

Pecans, Brazil nuts, walnuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, almonds, hazelnuts - I like all of those better than peanuts.

I'm not that into beans, really. Peanuts are right up there with garbanzos on the legume list.
