    Red. Avocado belongs in guacamole, not salsa which contains tomatoes as the primary ingredient by definition.

    It depends on which one contain the most heat. I tend to choose the milder, and each restaurant/brand has a different formula.

    Eww!  Everyone knows that when salsa turns green it's no longer edible (it's moldy).  Always be suspicious of salsa that's red.  It may contain a severed finger or a used band aid.
