What’s an item you’ve bought from a pawn shop, and in retrospect, did it turn out to be a good deal? ~

 

  For me, it’s been men’s jewel and wristwatches. The majority of them were great bargains.

    I have been in a pawn shop one time.  My daughter, in seventh grade, decided to be in the junior high band and wanted to play alto sax.   OK.  A friend told me the place to get it was a pawn shop downtown so on Saturday we went to the pawn shop, and sure enough, she found the exact horn she wanted....brand name and all.  She still has it and plays it sometimes.  We got the deal of century on it I believe.
