    I knew he had been demoted some time ago, but since this was a political hit job due to his support for Trump, he's perfectly justified in calling himself an admiral. Don't you agree?

    Kind of like being fired after you quit. 

    I don't care either way.   If it were me, I would say Former rear lower admiral.   Then he would not be lying.

    have to wonder why it is important whether Trump likes him or not. But he was retired as an Admiral which was the truth.
