How good of a story teller are you; on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best?

    I bet at least a 7.

    I once wrote a "letter to the editor" to a newspaper with a humorous take on my thoughts.
    The newspaper's editor contacted me; he loved my letter and he offered me my own humor column for the paper.
    He let me write about whatever I wished.
    I enjoyed that a lot. A lot of people liked my columns.

    Think I'd come in between a 1 and 2.  I can think of all kinds of ideas but actually telling the story in an interesting way is not my forte.

    Wait a second! What about all those whoppers you’ve spun in front of the judges at the Minnesota Civil Court hearings after filing those frivolous and overlapping restraining orders against me? A mere 5? Don’t make me laugh! You somehow manage to pull tall tales out of thin air at the hearings! The outlandish accusations, the wild misrepresentations, the theatrics, the tears, the sobbing, the fainting, what about all of that? Grrrrrrrr.

    If I'm not mistaken, I do believe the author of the Harry Potter series felt the same way before she decided to take a chance and publish.
