Yes I did. A few times. What made it even more delightful was I already had another job lined up first.

  • Yes... i did.. then i *did* them for constructive dismissal.. in other words I made a case that they had forced me to leave..  I used the money to take my daughter on vacation to Venice.. that was a nice touch I felt.. especially as people who worked there and who knew me happened to mention that i had *come into some money* and had taken a trip to Venice..  A holiday to remember for lots of reasons

  • Only once. It was a merchant bank and undoubtedly the unfriendliest environment I'd ever worked in. I had a security key to move from one part of the facility to another and one day the boss just got up my nose so much that I took the key out of my pocket and handed it to him, saying, "Since you think you can do myu job better than I can, you'll need this." And I walked out. I was pleased to see, from the employment column in the newspaper, that they had problems getting anybody else to stay, either. They didn't have a clue about relating to people.

Jobe?  I have said everything and done everything while quitting but that.    What did poor Jobe ever do to you?

No, but with a group effort, we got one fired which was much better then telling him to shove it.

I can't say I ever did that, knowing I probably needed their darn recommendation for my next job.

I must say I have a lot of holes in my tongue from biting it.
